Echo and the Bunnymen release Apples for Isaac

Echo & The Bunnymen Return with Apples for Isaac

Today, 18 September, legendary Liverpool post-punk icons Echo & The Bunnymen release their long-awaited new studio album, Apples for Isaac, marking their first collection of newly written material since 2014’s Meteorites.

Led by founding members Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant, the album sees the band reconnect with the atmospheric guitars, cinematic melodies and emotional depth that helped define their enduring legacy. The record features 11 new tracks, including the singles Brussels Is Haunted, The Light That Surrounds You and Take Me By The Hand.

Apples for Isaac also serves as a poignant tribute to the late Clem Burke, the celebrated drummer best known for his work with Blondie, who played on ten of the album’s eleven songs before his passing during its creation.

More than four decades after their formation in 1978, Echo & The Bunnymen prove that their creative spark remains very much alive. Apples for Isaac stands as both a confident return and a reaffirmation of the timeless sound that has made the band one of Britain’s most influential alternative acts.

You can stream the new album below featuring lead single, “Brussels is Haunted”.
